Our henna paste is safe for the skin because we include only all-natural ingredients with no added chemicals. However, the henna paste should not be used on infants and should not be consumed. Please supervise children as they create their henna tattoos, and read more about henna safety in our blog.

Have each participant choose their favorite henna design for kids. Have an adult cut the design out of the stencil and stick it to the child's skin. We include high-quality, pre-made henna paste in our kits to apply over the stencils.

The paste should be left on between two to twelve hours, but once it's no longer wet, we suggest wrapping the area in cling wrap so the party animals can continue having fun without trailing crumbly henna paste.

When ready, peel off the stencil and use the coconut oil to cleanse the excess paste and moisturize the area. They'll be entertained for hours, and you can be confident they'll only be using high-quality ingredients that are safe for their skin. Let the Mihenna fun begin!

No. Henna tattoos will only last between 1 and 3 weeks, depending on location and how well you care for them. Because henna is a dye that absorbs into your skin cells, the faster you lose skin cells, the faster your henna stain will disappear. We’ve got some tips to make it last.

  • Before you get your henna paste applied, exfoliate. Get off as much dead skin from the area as you can.
  • Wash the area to remove your natural oils, and then fully dry your skin.
  • Avoid water for the first few hours. Don’t jump in the shower right after you get your tattoo.
  • After you have your gorgeous henna, do not exfoliate! Your dead skin cells will naturally fall off over time, but try not to accelerate the process.
  • Moisturize the area to keep your skin healthier for longer. We recommend using coconut oil to keep the area luscious.

All of our henna products are all-natural, free from harsh chemicals, and totally skin-safe.

Henna paste will naturally become less effective over time. The stain won’t be as dark, and ingredients may separate depending on what the henna is made out of.

Fortunately, there is no health hazard or danger related to expired henna. You can easily extend the life of your henna paste by storing it in the freezer for up to 3 months.

If you use natural henna, then yes! Creating fake freckles with henna helps you avoid the sun damage that can come with trying to darken your real freckles, and they last longer than creating freckles with makeup that you need to reapply every day.

2 to 6 days with proper care. Moisturizing daily and avoiding exfoliation will help your henna freckles last longer. We recommend using coconut oil when exposed to water to increase the longevity of your henna freckles.
