Based in Miami, we're always inspired by the beauty of the ocean and the sun rising over the morning waves. Using a stick-and-poke type style, we've created the Waves henna stencil to capture everything we love about our ocean view. Check out our other beach-inspired designs like Palma, Sun & Sand, and our geometric Miami henna stencil.

Create perfect waves with this adhesive stencil. After you've cleaned and dried your skin, peel off the backing and stick the stencil firmly. Carefully fill in each little dot with our natural henna paste, and allow it to dry for at least two hours. Remove the stencil and scrape off any remaining paste. Avoid water for the next few hours, but then you'll be ready to hit the waves with your new henna tattoo!

No. Henna tattoos will only last between 1 and 3 weeks, depending on location and how well you care for them. Because henna is a dye that absorbs into your skin cells, the faster you lose skin cells, the faster your henna stain will disappear. We’ve got some tips to make it last.

  • Before you get your henna paste applied, exfoliate. Get off as much dead skin from the area as you can.
  • Wash the area to remove your natural oils, and then fully dry your skin.
  • Avoid water for the first few hours. Don’t jump in the shower right after you get your tattoo.
  • After you have your gorgeous henna, do not exfoliate! Your dead skin cells will naturally fall off over time, but try not to accelerate the process.
  • Moisturize the area to keep your skin healthier for longer. We recommend using coconut oil to keep the area luscious.

All of our henna products are all-natural, free from harsh chemicals, and totally skin-safe.

Henna paste will naturally become less effective over time. The stain won’t be as dark, and ingredients may separate depending on what the henna is made out of.

Fortunately, there is no health hazard or danger related to expired henna. You can easily extend the life of your henna paste by storing it in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Prior to shipping, it takes 1 - 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for orders to be processed, as our henna paste is freshly made to ensure the best quality.
