Mihenna owner Shalina wanted to bring these cultural values into a new, modern design for today’s henna artists. All the beauty and inspiration of traditional designs meet the boldness and romance of a rose in modern body art design. Wear your rose henna tattoo, knowing romance awaits.

To create your very own rose henna tattoo, start by selecting the location. This large stencil is best for the length of your arm, leg, or the center of your back. Wash and thoroughly dry the area to remove any oils and create a clean canvas.

Next, peel the adhesive backing from the stencil and stick it to your skin. Apply our all-natural henna paste over the stencil and be sure to fill in all spaces with a thick covering. Allow the henna to dry for at least two hours or up to twelve for the darkest stain.

When ready, pull off the stencil and remove the excess henna paste with a paper towel. Avoid washing it with water for next 4 to 5 hours as the stain sets. The color will continue to darken for the next 24 hours and can last up to two weeks with proper care.

No. Henna tattoos will only last between 1 and 3 weeks, depending on location and how well you care for them. Because henna is a dye that absorbs into your skin cells, the faster you lose skin cells, the faster your henna stain will disappear. We’ve got some tips to make it last.

  • Before you get your henna paste applied, exfoliate. Get off as much dead skin from the area as you can.
  • Wash the area to remove your natural oils, and then fully dry your skin.
  • Avoid water for the first few hours. Don’t jump in the shower right after you get your tattoo.
  • After you have your gorgeous henna, do not exfoliate! Your dead skin cells will naturally fall off over time, but try not to accelerate the process.
  • Moisturize the area to keep your skin healthier for longer. We recommend using coconut oil to keep the area luscious.

All of our henna products are all-natural, free from harsh chemicals, and totally skin-safe.

Henna paste will naturally become less effective over time. The stain won’t be as dark, and ingredients may separate depending on what the henna is made out of.

Fortunately, there is no health hazard or danger related to expired henna. You can easily extend the life of your henna paste by storing it in the freezer for up to 3 months.
